Wandering between France and Australia, I’m a french photographer, former engineer, who learned argentic processes early and switched to digital photography later on. Since then I’ve been building my ‘family’, collecting and trialling different cameras, pushing the limits of their capabilities and exploring how best serve different environments, situations and subjects.
However interested I am in the technicalities of photography – my main motivator is the idea of Connection. I am working to offer the same things that I get from photography: a story, the sharing of ideas, Beauty. Although I always get a buzz when a unique moment is captured spontaneously ‘out there’ in real-time, I’ve also been developing my skills in prepared session works, both in the studio and outdoors. For my personal projects, every image taken with a model is a collaborative piece of work as I’m interested in the exchange of ideas and values; unmasking what is important to them; finding out what makes them tick. With affinity, I can always make a better picture as there’s nothing more beautiful than the truth.
My mission is, of course, an ongoing challenge. I am always looking for better ways to improve and to bring my pictures to life.
Currently based in Marseille.
